Patricia McNamara
Having worked in the public health system and private practice for more than 25 years, Patricia has attained a variety of accreditations and developed wide ranging skills.
Patricia’s expertise covers the following areas:
Anxiety ~ Depression ~ Bullying ~ Recent trauma ~ Self esteem Childhood trauma ~ Sexual assault – Assertiveness and Relationships.
Patricia prides herself in her professional approach and her hallmark is the ability to relax her clients prior to proceeding with counselling. Thus enabling her clients to benefit fully from each session.

A facilitator with Department of Corrective Services with the
- Sober Drivers Program
- Domestic Violence Program
- Victims of Crime Program
- A Counsellor with Veteran’s Affairs
- Sexual Assault counsellor with NSW Health
Change by Change Program
The CHANGE by CHANGE program is now being run on the north shore from our Asquith offices.
The program is conducted over an initial period of 3 weeks for one and a half hours an evening. It is conducted in small friendly supportive groups.
Referrals may be made through “The Better Access Scheme” via your GP. These clients are Bulk billed through Medicare.

Change by Change Program
When we are unhappy with our body shape we can also feel trapped and at a loss at what to do about it. From past experiences maybe we have found it too hard to either get started or to stay motivated.
The Change by Change Program is a completely different way of looking at the subject of changing body shape.
